I’m excited to share that I  visited Tanzania, invited by Basecamp Eco-resorts.

ABOUT BASECAMP ECO-RESORTS

They are an international company developing eco-resorts in unique locations, showcasing eco-tourism as both eco-friendly and profitable. Managing resorts in IJmuiden, Amsterdam, Sardinia, Tanzania, Mafia Island, and Bali, they offer leisure travel, work hubs, event spaces, and tiny-house investment opportunities.

Each Basecamp is built to improve sustainability, focusing on reducing environmental impact while creating meaningful connections with nature. Guided by the motto “come as a guest, leave as a friend,” the lodges display warm hospitality and a community spirit. More than just places to relax, Basecamp Eco-resorts serve as “living labs,” where guests, staff, and local communities come together to collaborate, innovate, and encourage sustainable practices.

ABOUT THE COLLAB

As we work with ambitious business owners, Basecamp fits that profile perfectly.

In 2024, the Tanzanian government recorded 5.36 million visitors, surpassing its 2025 target and highlighting tourism’s crucial economic role. The industry is expected to keep growing, depending on global travel, regional stability, and ongoing investments. We are harnessing that potential for Basecamp Eco-resorts. Thank you for having me in Tanzania, @Gertjanhoffer and @Jeroenmetselaar.
